Note: this photo is from my 2012 Versa sedan. My 2014 Note does indeed have a tachometer. Now that's progress.

Does a Leaf really 'rev'? I guess it does. You do have eco gauges, digital displays, steering wheel controls, etc. ;p my sedan was the "$10,990" model they advertised as the base price so it was this and nothing else.

The motor is spinning at RPM, but it doesn't shift, so no tach either.

Man, and I just posted my 68 Montego's gauges and it doesnt have one. I guess I'll have to go out and get a giant one to put on the hood.

See, my 2012 Versa and your Montego, basically the same car.

Nothing wrong with not having a tach. My contribution: my family's sadly-departed Triumph 2500. I passed my test in it, and subsequently passed many hours of my misspent youth behind that fantastic slab-of-wood dash.
I'm glad that I got to take it out on one last drive when I visited my folks earlier this year.

Did you sell it or scrap it?

It failed its safety inspection on some pretty severe structural rust, and although they sold it to somebody who restores them, I doubt that it'll be back on the road – it'd be more use as a parts car.
Honestly, although I miss it, it did do very well – my parents bought it as just a cheap everyday car when my younger brother was born, and it served as a daily-driver in various capacities for 22 years. It ended up being my first car, going on to my brother when he started driving, and survived an awful lot of merciless hooning under both of us!
My grandmother still has (and regularly drives) a Triumph 2000 wagon that my grandfather bought new, so I don't think that we'll ever completely stop owning Triumphs, but it's still sad to see one go.
